According to media reports, Washington was represented by the commander of the US forces in Afghanistan, General Scott Miller. During the talks, the Taliban expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the American armed forces in Afghanistan were attacking the positions of militants. According to the Taliban, such operations have only become more frequent recently.
The American general, in turn, accused the terrorists of assaulting Afghan government forces. Miller emphasized that the US Army will continue to support Kabul in repelling such attacks.
