Leaders of countries-members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) agreed to discuss joint measures to respond to the situation associated with the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 during videoconference that will be held next week, Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas said on Friday.
“Next week, the Heads of our states – members of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council – agreed to discuss, in format of videoconference, joint measures to the current situation related to the spread of the coronavirus infection and, just as importantly, work to restore economic growth in the post-crisis period”, – Rumas said during a meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council, which takes place via video link.
