Mayor of Gorlago Elena Grena thanked for the help of Russian military virologists who carried out complete disinfection of three boarding houses for elderly people. In total they visited 30 settlements in the province of Lombardy.
Elena Grena met with a group of Russian militaries, thanked them for their help in combating the spread of infection and presented a book about the history of Gorlago with a thank you inscription.
“The emergency situation we are in because of the COVID-19 epidemic has brought disease and suffering to our homes, but once again made us realize that values such as the ability to show sympathy and help in difficult moments will save us”, – she said.
