Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced that he expects arrival on Wednesday of humanitarian aid cargo from Russia to fight against the coronavirus.
“I want to inform you that on April 8, special humanitarian assistance will come from the Pan American Health Organization, UNICEF and Russia,” said Maduro, whose words are quoted by Latin American media.
In March, Russia already sent a shipment of humanitarian aid to Venezuela against the backdrop of the pandemic of the coronavirus infection COVID-19. In addition, the Russian Federation, on its own initiative, handed over to the Latin American country 10 thousand tests for coronavirus.
