Coronavirus Pandemic: the U.S. wants to use Boris Johnson’s heavy fortune to beat the money out of China

The money will not return people who died of a coronavirus infection, but that does not mean that the U.S. should not receive the money.

Coronavirus pandemic: The U.S. wants to use Boris Johnson’s heavy fortune to get the money out of China.
This statement was made by the American publicist Gordon Chang, commenting on the prospect of “compensation for the coronavirus” from China for the Fox News channel.
Chang admitted that the U.S. alone will not be able to cope with such a task, but offered to cooperate with other countries.

“China has many liquid assets around the world. For example, it has bonds worth more than a trillion dollars. And there are also finances in euros, pounds sterling, yen, Swiss francs. I suppose there are in Canadian dollars, too. If we teamed up with the issuers of these currencies, we would be able to appropriate an impressive amount of finance”, –  says the publicist, stressing that “it would not compensate for the lives taken by the world.

According to him, this way the U.S. would have received a “deterrent” for the future, rather than enough money. He also predicted a response from China.

“First of all, it would say that it is a refusal to fulfill the debt obligation. Then we would be harshly criticized, accused of not being ready to take responsibility as a member of the global financial system. Then there would be an attempt to destroy the dominance of the dollar”, –  Chung continues.

That’s why the United States needs to find allies in trying to get compensation from China, the publicist says. In particular, he suggested that the UK should be involved in this venture.

“Given what’s going on with the British Prime Minister, I think they’re angry enough that we can form a coalition”, –  said Gordon Chang.

As previously reported to News Front, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was infected with coronavirus infection and soon found himself in intensive care. According to the government, his condition is stable, but the patient receives oxygen support.
