It is reported by the German public television channel “Das Erste”.

When US President Donald Trump announced such a noble, at first glance, gesture, he dealt a serious blow to American health care itself. The fact is that the financial resource that the state will spend on infected COVID-19, it was decided to withdraw from the budget money allocated to help medical facilities.

Thus, the stronger the epidemic spreads in the USA, the more people get coronavirus infection, the more depressing the situation of hospitals will be. In fact, Washington’s decision forces many health facilities across the country to fight for their existence in the midst of an epidemic.

Assistant General Inspector General of the United States Department of Health Anne Maxwell has already announced that US hospitals are forced to cut costs. At the same time, they cannot profit from the provision of non-urgent services, because they are concentrated on the fight against coronavirus. This leads to the fact that hospital administrations are forced to reduce staff wages, transfer them to part-time jobs and even send them on vacation.

The worst situation is in hospitals in small towns. According to forecasts, after a maximum of 3 months of such state policy, they may go bankrupt.

Earlier, News Front reported that in one of the closed hospitals in New York, which contain exclusively patients infected with COVID-19, the mortality rate is 25%. The staff of the institution spoke about the lack of mechanical ventilation devices, as well as specialists who can properly connect patients to the system.
