Russia in 2020 will allocate up to $ 1 million in assistance to the World Health Organization (WHO) in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19.

The corresponding order was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“To administer in 2020 a budget allocation from the federal budget to pay a one-time voluntary earmarked contribution to the World Health Organization to implement measures to combat new coronavirus infection up to $1 million”, – the order says.

Earlier it was reported that the G7 countries will provide financial assistance to WHO in the amount of £71 billion to combat the spread of coronavirus.
