The number of crew members of the American aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt with a positive coronavirus test increased to 155. This is stated in a message on the US Navy website.
“As of April 4, 44% of the members of Theodore Roosevelt’s team were tested for COVID-19 with 155 positive cases. 1548 troops went ashore. Of these, not a single hospitalized, ” the report said.
Earlier it was reported that there were about a hundred positive results, in total it is planned to drop about 3.7 thousand people out of almost five thousand on board the ship. The rest will ensure the functioning of ship systems. The aircraft carrier is currently located at the Guam military base, however, as the command assured, it remains in operation, despite the discovery of the coronavirus.
