Fired by the efforts of Joe Biden from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Viktor Shokin not aimlessly began to throw accusations against participants in the 2014 coup.
This was told by the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Oleynyk, commenting on the publication “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Shokin’s loud words that both Kiev and Washington are well aware of those who initiated provocative executions on the Maidan.
Oleynik is sure that such statements speak of a deal between the ex-Prosecutor General of Ukraine and the team of the US President Donald Trump.
“Given the intra-American confrontation between Democrats and Republicans, given the active participation of Joe Biden in the coup in Ukraine, there can be no random statements from the outside. Trump will directly accuse the Democrats of involvement in the overthrow of power in Ukraine, and will directly accuse those who were behind the killings during the Euromaidan”, – the former deputy explains.
The politician is confident that Shokin is coordinating his statements with the actions of the White House. He also did not rule out the possibility that very soon the ex-Prosecutor General would openly point out the connection between the American Democrats and the Maidan executions.
“If Joe Biden is accused of using anti-corruption legislation for his personal purposes in trying to save his son, this is one thing. Here is a political matter. It is associated with the death of people. They [the Democrats] did everything to prevent the investigation of these crimes”, – continued Oleynik.
At the same time, he pointed out that Shokin himself was guilty of criminal inaction after overthrowing power in Ukraine.
“Shokin realized that after the change of power, the new ones would be planted in packs. In order not to sit down, he preferred to be the first in this matter”, – said the ex-MP.
