Militants opened fire on Syrian army positions in the west of Aleppo province

The terrorists of the Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham and allied militias opened fire on Syrian army positions in the west of Aleppo province.

The Federal News Agency reports this with reference to a military source. The Syrian Arab army came under fire last night near the village of Al-Atarib. Syrian government forces returned fire on terrorist fortifications. The rockets were fired directly at the Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham stronghold.

Clashes between Syrian National Army units were recorded in northern Aleppo. The self-appointed military police of the SNA left their posts in the town of Al-Bab and headed towards Turkish military posts. Meanwhile, Ahrar al-Sharqiyah units arrived in the area and seized the checkpoint. The fighters are demanding extradition of those who took part in the assassination attempt on their head of counter-intelligence. Abu Rasul died in an exchange of fire in a market square in central Al-Baba.

The terrorists of Ahrar al-Sharqiyah received four SNA military police officers as a result of negotiations. A group later stormed the hospital building, where one of the shooters was also present.
