China is determined to achieve a complete victory over the coronavirus, in Wuhan, at the moment, no new cases of infection have been detected, said the Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui in an article written specifically for RIA Novosti.
“Thanks to the difficult struggle that lasted more than two months, from March 18 to the present, no new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected in Wuhan. Over the past 100 days and 100 nights, the Chinese people have experienced everything, starting with the horror of realizing the epidemic, equanimity in the fight against it, ending with the determination to defeat it. We had fear, but we were not frightened, we encountered difficulties, but we did not sit idly by in anticipation of our fate. We are determined to achieve victory in the fight against the epidemic, and we will not stop there and we will fight against it as fiercely as at the very beginning”, – the ambassador writes.
He recalled that after the outbreak, China “in a very short time joined forces to suppress the spread of the epidemic”.
“Now China is coordinating timely measures for the prevention and control of epidemics and sorting out the areas where work and production are resuming”, – the diplomat said.
