The temples of the British city of Oxford will become an experimental site for the Church of England, which aims to support the LGBT community and make Christianity “a safe place for everyone.”

Now, Oxford priests will be obligated to invite representatives of sexual minorities to tea, to conduct conversations with them on high moral and religious topics in order to provide “spiritual support.”
For a better implementation of the plan, the church introduced eight bets specifically for priests with non-traditional sexual orientation. Their responsibilities include “serving people who are not well served in the church.” Bishop of Oxford personally undertook to follow up on the experiment.
It is worth noting that in the context of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the church made adjustments to its idea. Now LGBT people are offered to communicate with the clergy via video link.
