Work on the establishment of lists of mutual release of detained persons is ongoing.

The Tripartite Contact Group for the settlement of the situation in Donbass discussed prisoner exchange and asset sharing. In connection with the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, the meeting was held in the format of a videoconference, reports the press service of the President.

The Ukrainian side raised such key issues as the security situation in Donbas and the mutual release of prisoners with representatives of the Temporarily uncontrolled territories of Ukraine.

The work on forming lists within the limits of mutual release of the detained persons is continuing. In addition, the participants of the Tripartite contact group continued consultations on the following areas for the separation of forces and means, taking into account primarily humanitarian criteria.

No documents were signed during the meeting.

However, Ukraine recalled its commitment to a sustainable and complete ceasefire regime and called on the participants of the Tripartite contact group to support this initiative.

Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories and the representative of Ukraine in the sub-working group of the Tripartite contact group on political issues, Oleksiy Reznikov, said that the participants of the Tripartite Contact Group for the resolution of the conflict in Donbass will not create an Advisory Council, as planned, on 25 March, reported “UNIAN”.
