The American Armed Forces intends to find contractors to build four military facilities in Ukraine.
According to the request of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Europe, it is planned to build combat training centers: one near the village of Devichki in Kyiv region, another near the village Shirokolanivka in Mykolayiv region, to build a warehouse for boats of United States Marine Corps special forces in the area of Ochakov, as well as to renovate the barracks near the village of Staroye.
“Each building will have a spacious conference room for planning and discussion, as well as office and training areas using virtual simulators”, – the document says.
The document notes that the National Guard of Ukraine will take over the preparation of the construction site, the construction of supporting structures, external walls, base and roof, and the U.S. government will provide installation of internal slabs and communication systems of the building.
“What is happening is an unpleasant event and an unpleasant trend when the number of United States bases on the territory of Ukraine is increasing. The situation is far from ideal as it is, there are combat operations on the territory of Ukraine, and the presence of foreign troops in general and the United States in particular does not contribute to the peace offensive in the country. This is a US policy, which is no longer a surprise. After the coup d’état in Kiev, they have sharply intensified. They are pursuing their goals, using Ukraine simply as a territory to realize their goals,” political scientist Oleksandr Dudchak said.
