WHO considers the “Italian scenario” of the development of the situation with coronavirus in Russia unlikely. This was stated by the representative of the organization in Russia, Dr. Melita Vujnovich.
“Apparently, no”, – she said in response to a corresponding question. Her words are quoted by Interfax.
As noted by Vujnović, the historically different system and practice of healthcare has developed in Rissua, different from that in Western Europe, and it is aimed at prevention and act “ahead of schedule”.
“In Russia, a doctor’s house call, patronage, mainly free access to medical facilities, as well as support for anti-epidemic measures against coronavirus at all levels of government are practiced”, – she added.
Earlier, Denis Protsenko, Head doctor of the hospital in Kommunarsk, at a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin described possible scenarios for the development of the situation with coronavirus – Asian and Italian.
