Residents of the settlement of Hamou in the province of Al-Hasakah, along with Syrian military personnel there, on Wednesday blocked the movement of a convoy of U.S. military equipment, the Syrian television channel Al-Ahbar reported.
According to the channel, the convoy, consisting of six pieces of equipment, was forced to interrupt the movement along the route and turn around.
Two days earlier, Hamou residents also blocked the movement of the U.S. military convoy, then it consisted of 11 vehicles.
The Syrian authorities have repeatedly stated that the presence of a U.S. military contingent in the ATS is a violation of the sovereignty of the State and all international rules.
