Russian experts moved to the Italian epicenter of coronavirus

A convoy of Russian special vehicles headed for western Italy, where the epidemic of coronavirus infection COVID-19 is raging, from an air base 30 kilometers from Rome.

This was reported on Wednesday, March 25, by the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

According to the agency, the goal of Russian military experts is the city of Bergamo, northeast of Milan.

The convoy includes 22 units of special equipment and buses with military specialists. They are accompanied by the Italian military and technical support vehicles, which were provided by the Italian government.

As News Front previously reported, Italy became the European epicenter of the pandemic, but the EU countries refused to help it in the fight against coronavirus. Against this background, Moscow offered its help to Rome. So, the Russian humanitarian aid and even doctors were delivered to Italy.
