In Kabul on Wednesday, militants attacked a Sikh temple with several dozen believers, according to the online portal of the American newspaper The Washington Post.
The attack took place during the morning service. There was an explosion near the building. According to preliminary reports, suicide bombers were involved in the attack.
According to the believers, at least four people were killed. At the same time, there are no official data on the victims yet.
Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian said several people were taken hostage in the attack and security forces came to the temple to free them.
No terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, the newspaper said.
