In Iran, a record number of COVID-19 cases per day have been identified

More than 2.2 thousand new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Iran in a day.

This is reported by Gazeta.ru.

“From yesterday to today 2,206 new cases of infection with coronavirus have been detected”, –  Advisor to the Minister of Health of Iran Ali Reza Wahabzade said on Twitter.

This is a record number of infections per day in Iran, according to the Iranian Ministry of Health, RIA Novosti reports. The total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country is 27,017. During the past day 143 people died, while the total number of those who died from coronavirus is 2 077. 9,625 people have recovered.
Earlier it was reported that Iran has rejected the proposed U.S. assistance in the fight against coronavirus.
