The fourteenth military transport plane arrived in Italy from Russia to assist in connection with the severe consequences of coronavirus proliferation in this country, the Russian Ministry of Defense told Interfax.
“The next, fourteenth, IL-76 aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Air Force of Russia with a group of Russian military specialists and equipment for diagnosis and disinfection landed at the airfield of the Italian Air Force base Pratica de Marais (30 kilometers south-west of Rome)”, – said the Ministry of Defense.
The military department noted that the operation of transferring Russian military specialists, special equipment and machinery to the Italian Air Force base “Pratica di Marais” is ongoing.
