The third court hearing in the Netherlands Schiphol in the case of the MH17 flight shot down over the Donbass on Monday, March 23, lasted less than an hour, according to Europravda.
The judge announced that the lawyer of suspect Oleg Pulatov should first be given the opportunity to study a dossier in which more than 36,000 pages.
The meeting was held without the press and relatives because of the risk of the spread of coronavirus. Only three judges, a secretary, a prosecutor and a lawyer are in the courtroom. At the same time, the judges sat at a certain distance from each other in accordance with the recommendations on social distance.
The next court hearing is scheduled for June 8. Then the court must decide on numerous requests sent by the Dutch Public Prosecutor.
Recall, March 9 in the Netherlands began the first hearing in the case of the disaster MH17. Four people are involved in the case: Russians Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov and Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko. None of them appeared in court.
At a meeting on March 10, prosecutors introduced new witnesses to the case.
After that, the court took a break until March 23 to familiarize itself with the requests of the participants in the process.
According to the schedule of the hearings, they should be held: June 8 – July 3, August 31 – November 13, 2020 and from February 1 to March 26, 2021.
