Trump’s National Security Adviser will head a delegation that will arrive in Moscow on May 9

Ambassador John Sullivan noted that the visit of the delegation shows that the USA honors the memory of the common losses suffered by the coalition allies, American and Soviet peoples during the World War II.

The U.S. delegation to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory Day in Moscow May 9 will be led by Robert O’Brien, the President’s National Security Advisor. This was stated in a statement issued by U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan on Thursday by the U.S. diplomatic mission in Moscow.

“I am honoured to announce that U.S. President’s National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien will lead a U.S. delegation to Moscow May 9 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany”, – Sullivan said. – “The visit of the high-ranking delegation shows that the U.S. honors the common losses suffered by all anti-Hitler coalition allies, the American and Soviet peoples during World War II, to make the world safe for all.”

The parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held in Moscow on May 9, 2020. Earlier invitations to visit the Russian capital to participate in the celebrations were sent to U.S. President Donald Trump, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Chairman of the State Council of the DPRK Kim Jong-un, leaders of the CIS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, European leaders. Among those who confirmed their participation in the celebrations were the leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Venezuela, India, Cuba, France, Czech Republic.
