Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has ordered to introduce temporary restrictions on flights from Russia to the United States, Great Britain and the United Arab Emirates.

Restrictions will begin to take effect from 0.00 on March 20. They will affect passenger traffic in both directions. Exceptions are regular flights from Sheremetyevo to London, New York, Abu Dhabi and back, as well as charter flights provided that their citizens and citizens of other states and citizens of the Russian Federation are carried to the said states (until the full departure of the said citizens).
The Prime Minister instructed to report on the results of the measures introduced by March 20. Rosaviatsia was also instructed to notify the relevant airlines and other interested parties about the time limit within 24 hours.
