In China, the accreditation of correspondents of the largest American publications is revoked.
Beijing withdrew the accreditation of New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post correspondents, and imposed restrictions on Voice of America and Time magazine.
“The correspondents of the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, accredited to work in China before the end of this year, will be denied accreditation within the next 10 days. Journalists will not be able to work in China, including the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau, ” the Foreign Ministry said.
The actions of the Chinese authorities are associated with a wave of false accusations against China of the deliberate spread of the coronavirus, which was raised by the American mass media.
