Trump says US coronavirus outbreak ends in July or August

The American economy may move towards recession amid the situation with the new coronavirus.

The US authorities expect that the outbreak of the disease caused by the new coronavirus in the US will end in July-August, but may last even longer. This was stated by President Donald Trump, answering questions from journalists in the White House.

He was asked how long the outbreak would last in the country.

“People are talking about July, August, something like this. Maybe longer”, – the President replied.

As the head of state added, these terms will be true if the authorities “cope with their work and lower the mortality rate” in the country.

“Let’s see what happens”, – Trump concluded.

Trump also admitted that the US economy could move toward recession amid the situation with the new coronavirus.

“Well, that could be so”, – the American leader said. However, he associated the decline primarily with coronavirus.

“As soon as it leaves, everything will end, and we will deal with it, I think you will see the incredible growth”, – Trump is convinced.

Earlier, the United States stopped the transfer of its troops to Defender maneuvers in Europe and canceled four related exercises because of caution in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus.
