Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro plans to come to Moscow to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory, Russian Ambassador to Venezuela Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov told.
Jubilee Victory Parade will be held on May 9 on Red Square. Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov reported that the leaders of 17 countries have confirmed their arrival in Moscow this year to celebrate the anniversary of Victory.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a recent visit to Venezuela that Russia is looking forward to Maduro on May 9.
“Yes, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent him a corresponding invitation. Nicolas Maduro accepted it with gratitude, and the Venezuelans are planning such a trip”, – said the diplomat.
