LPR accused Kiev of mining agricultural land in Donbass

The people’s militia of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic accused Ukrainian law enforcers of mining agricultural land controlled by militias near the line of contact in Donbass.

On March 2, the People’s Police said that two people had exploded on a mine blast machine near the LPR-controlled settlement of Mykolaivka near the line of contact in Donbass.

“On the eve of the sowing campaign, war criminals from 72 brigades (Ukrainian security forces – ed.) carried out mining of agricultural land of the republic”, – said the press service of the defense ministry of the LPR.

According to the People’s Police, Ukrainian law enforcers have planted more than 1 thousand anti-tank mines on the fields planned for sowing in the areas inhabited by the Golden and Landing, partly controlled by Kiev, partly by the LPR.

“These facts are also confirmed by reports of the SMM (Special Monitoring Mission) OSCE”, –  added the press service.
