Fiona Hill, former director of the U.S. National Security Service’s Europe and Russia department, has refuted Washington’s fables about “ubiquitous Russians”.
Famous Russian senator and journalist Alexei Pushkov commented on the words of former U.S. presidential adviser Donald Trump, who recently spoke about the “Russian footprint” in American domestic politics.
“They are not the ones who invented our differences. They’re not the ones who sowing discord on the basis of party affiliation”, – Fiona Hill said.
Pushkov noted that it is rare to hear such reasonable words from American politicians.
“A rare correct judgment of Russia in today’s United States”, – the senator wrote in his microblog on the social network.
