On Monday, the village of Zaitsevo on the outskirts of Gorlovka came under fire from Ukrainian militants.
As a result of the shelling, a local resident, a man born in 1964, was wounded. He was shot in the stomach by Ukrainian snipers and is now in serious condition.
The Joint Centre for Ceasefire Monitoring and Coordination stated that the shooting with small arms was recorded at 11.40 a.m.
The victim was taken to Gorlovska Municipal Hospital No. 2.
Nelly Yakunenko, Chief Medical Officer of Gorlovka City Hospital, described the condition of the victim.
“As a result of the hostilities, a civilian born in 1964 was wounded, a bullet penetrating the abdominal cavity, damage to internal organs, hemorrhagic shock of a severe degree, the condition is extremely serious”.
It should be noted that the victim at the time of the shelling was in his garden.
Recall that the AFU regularly violates the ceasefire in the territory of Donbass. According to the official information for March 8, during one day the Ukrainian military fired 16 times at the DPR, small arms and grenade launchers were used.
