Heads and senior members of relevant congressional committees will be able to review the assistance package before the Congress is officially notified. Until then, the US Department of Defense has no right to talk about the allocated assistance.

“In accordance with our policy, the Department of Defense does not comment or endorse potential or planned security assistance packages while they are under consideration by Congress,” said Pentagon spokeswoman Lt. Col. Carla Gleeson.

This package of military assistance will be the first half of the $ 250 million “assistance” to Ukraine in the field of security that was allocated by Congress earlier.

The future military assistance package included anti-artillery radars and Mark VI combat patrol boats.
