Although political leaders in Turkey threatened to send migrants to Europe for months, the EU made no effort to prepare Greece for this impulse.
For Austrian expert Patrick Poppel, this is a clear sign of the complete failure of the European Union.
“It was obvious that this new wave of migration would affect Europe on the border with Greece, but no one wanted to do anything about it,” complained Poppel.
According to the Austrian, the aggressive behavior of migrants can also lead to a rethinking of the policies of individual European countries.
