Attack in western Afghanistan killed at least seven people

At least seven civilians were killed and 17 injured in an attack in Herat province in western Afghanistan, the governor’s office said on Saturday.

It is reported that the attack occurred in the village of Hwaja Nur on Saturday night. The attack killed seven people, including children. It is reported that all the victims were taken to the hospital.

On Friday, strangers attacked at an event attended by Afghan Prime Minister Abdullah Abdullah. Political spokesman Mujiburahman Rahimi told the reporters that Abdullah was not injured in the attack. As a result of the attack 32 people were killed, 81 more people were injured.
