Nazarbayev reported on Kazakhstan’s readiness to continue relations with Russia

Chairman of Kazakhstan’s Security Council Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed readiness to continue cooperation with Russia on domestic and foreign policy issues.

“It is good to see you in your new position. Colleagues, ready to continue interaction on domestic and foreign policy issues”, –  Nazarbayev said at a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in Nursultan on Friday.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Security Council Secretary Rashid Nurgaliyev and Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alexei Borodavkin.
Nazarbayev and Medvedev visiting the library of Kazakhstan’s first president (Nazarbayev Center). In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council of Ministers left an entry in the book of honorary guests. “Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev is the leader of modern Kazakhstan, who did everything for the development of his state. I am happy that we work together to strengthen the Kazakh-Russian friendly relations”, – wrote Medvedev.
