The LPR announced four shootings by Ukrainian security forces

Ukrainian law enforcers violated the ceasefire four times a day, firing on the territory of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, was told at the representative office of the People’s Republic of China in the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC).

Earlier, the People’s Police declared the death of a militiaman on Wednesday as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“On March 4, four shootings were recorded by Ukrainian armed groups,” the LPR representative office said.
It is specified that the Ukrainian law enforcers fired mortars of 120 and 82 millimeters caliber, armament of BMP, grenade launchers and small arms at the settlements under the control of the Republic of Frunze, Kalinovo and Nizhny Lozovoye.

In April 2014, the Ukrainian authorities launched a military operation against the self-declared LPR and DNR, which declared independence after the state revolution in Ukraine in February 2014. According to the latest UN data, about 13,000 people fell victim to the conflict.
The issue of settling the situation in Donbas is discussed, in particular, during meetings of the contact group in Minsk, which has already adopted three documents regulating steps to de-escalate the conflict since September 2014. However, even after the ceasefire agreements between the parties to the conflict, shootings continue.
