NATO military exercise “Crystal Arrow” started in Latvia

International military exercise “Crystal Arrow – 2020”, in which 2.5 thousand NATO soldiers are taking part, began in Latvia on Monday, said in a press release of the Ministry of Defence.


“International military exercise “Crystal Arrow 2020″ has started in Latvia. It will last until March 13. About 2.5 thousand NATO soldiers will take part in them,” the Defence Ministry’s press release says.

The exercise is taking place at the military training ground in Adazi.

“Soldiers from Latvia, Albania, Czech Republic, Denmark, Italy, Canada, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain are taking part in the exercise”, – the release notes said.

Latvia has been a member of NATO since 2004.
