Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he hopes for a truce in Syrian Idlib after talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

On Monday morning, the press services of both leaders confirmed that high-level consultations will be held in Moscow on 5 March.
On the eve, the Russian side stressed that Russia’s position on Syria will be absolutely consistent and unchanged. Moscow remains committed to the Sochi agreements and supports Damascus and its intention to continue fighting terrorism.
Earlier it was reported that the Kremlin had disclosed the topics of negotiations between Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart.
