LPR reported 17 truce violations by law enforcers in one week

Ukrainian law enforcers have fired 17 times over the past week on the territory of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, the head of the People’s Police Department of the People’s Republic of China, Yan Leshchenko, told journalists on Friday.


On 21 February, the People’s Republic of China said that Ukrainian law enforcers had also violated the ceasefire in Donbas 17 times over the week.

“In total, the armed groups of Ukraine violated the ceasefire 17 times during the week”, –  Leshchenko said.
According to him, Ukrainian law enforcers fired more than 250 shells into the LNR territory. The law enforcers fired with 152-mm artillery pieces, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, armament of BMPs and grenade launchers.

“Materials on the facts of shelling of settlements were handed over to representatives of international organizations located in the republic, as well as to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the People’s Republic of China for inclusion in criminal cases initiated against the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, –  added Leshchenko.
