Moldovan President Igor Dodon said that the escaped oligarch and former Democrat leader Vladimir Plahotniuc is in the USA.
He referred to official information from the US representatives in Moldova.
Dodon said that the US representatives responded to an earlier request to provide information on the whereabouts of Plahotniuc, confirming that the former DPM leader is in the USA.
“Within several days, the competent authorities of Moldova will address the US partners, as they are the ones who decide to extradite him to Moldova, so that he could be held responsible for his actions. Nobody has forgotten about it”, – he said.
