USA, UK and Turkey sharply increased oil supplies from Russia

The United States, Britain and Turkey increased imports of crude oil from Russia, RBC reported citing data from the Federal Customs Service.

According to the publication, all three countries have increased exports more than doubled.

Thus, the export of crude oil from Russia to the United States in 2019 amounted to almost $ 2.2 billion, which is 2.4 times more than a year earlier. At the same time, in physical terms, the volume of exports grew from 1.8 million tons to 4.7 million.

Exports of Russian crude oil to the UK more than doubled both in value terms (from $ 493 million to 1.2 billion) and in physical terms (from 0.98 million to 2.4 million tons).

Deliveries to Turkey even quadrupled: from 2.1 million to 8.2 million tons. In value terms, supplies increased 3.5 times: from $ 1 billion to $ 3.7 billion.
