Britain is ready at any time to stop trade negotiations with the EU on Brexit – Boris Johnson

The main goal of Britain in the negotiations is to ensure the restoration of its economic and political independence by January 1, 2021, the British government announced.

Representatives of Downing Street voiced the following conditions: Britain will not agree to accept «any obligations to bring laws into line with EU laws, as well as to provide jurisdiction to the European Court of Justice on its territory».

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was ready to sacrifice the interests of British business if the European authorities insisted on their conditions.

Earlier today, the British government presented a document that formulated the country’s approach to ongoing negotiations with the EU.
