An explosion occurred in Kabul near the office of the Attorney General of Afghanistan

A major explosion occurred on Wednesday in Kabul near the office of the Attorney General. This was reported by the Afghan television channel Ariana News.

Local police confirmed the explosion in the area. Nine civilians were injured, the official spokesman said.

According to him, the explosion thundered on Darul-Aman Street. An explosive device, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was mounted on a motorcycle. Among the victims – one woman who accidentally ended up in the area at the time of the explosion.

It is noted that the explosion at the office of the Attorney General occurred on the fifth day of the established seven-day period of “reduction of violence”, agreed upon in negotiations between US representatives and the Taliban radical movement (prohibited in the Russian Federation).
