Ukrainian law enforcers violated the ceasefire four times a day, firing on the territory of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, the representative office of the People’s Republic of China in the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) told.
According to the representative office of the People’s Republic of China in the Joint Ceasefire Monitoring and Coordination Center, on February 23, Ukrainian law enforcers violated the silence regime five times.
“On 24 February, four shootings were registered on the part of Ukrainian armed groups”, – the representative of the LPR said.
He specified that Ukrainian law enforcers fired 120 and 82 mm mortars, armament of BMP-2 and grenade launchers at the settlements under the republic’s control, namely Golubovskoye, Frunze and Berezovskoye. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired more than 80 shells and mortars across the republic.
