Fifty people were protesting against the walls of the local administration because of quarantine of Romanian citizens who were evacuated from Italy.
On Sunday, February 23, in the Romanian city of Becket, protests were held against quarantining Romanians from Italy. It is supposed to evacuate 179 people who must arrive by flight to Craiova Airport from Bergamo. All passengers of the aircraft will be checked by specialist doctors of the infectious diseases hospital in the county.
The protesters dispensed with burning tires and cobblestones so far.
Italy has become the epicenter of the new coronavirus in Europe. The largest number of infected was recorded in the north of the country. To date, the number of coronavirus victims in the country has reached three people. The total number of infected increased to 152 people.
