More than 60 thousand believers took part in prayers and special protest marches in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica.
According to the press service of the Montenegrin-Primorsky Metropolitanate of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC), those gathered protested against the law on freedom of religion, which infringes on the interests of the SOC.
“Over 60 thousand believers gathered tonight near the cathedral church of Christ’s Resurrection in Podgorica for a prayer service, which was served by Bishop Theodosius of Rashsky-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohsky. He also led the religious procession along the streets of Podgorica, ”the report said.
