NATO promised to respond to Russian 9M729 missiles. Such threats were made by Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the second working session of the defense ministers.
“In response to the missile threat from Russia, NATO is consulting and reaching consensus at all stages. In June last year, we adopted a package of measures to respond to the deployment of 9M729 missiles. Now we will examine these measures in more detail, observing all arms control measures”, – he said.
It is a pity that NATO does not take into account the fact that the missile does not violate international norms and certainly is not used for threats. That’s the strategy of the Alliance`s hosts, the U.S., but they probably can do so.
