Some circles in Montenegro and part of the international community are playing a “tricky game” in this republic, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on the Serbian TV channel RTS.
Vucic emphasized that the goal of Serbian state policy is to maintain the presence of the Serbian people in Montenegro, so that people can live peacefully and have the right to practice their religion and nothing more.
However, as he added, “Montenegro is playing a tricky game, and part of the international community in particular”.
“There are circles in Europe, but also around the world, for which the existence of a strong Serbia is undesirable”.
“Whatever happens in the region is always our fault. There is always talk of someone wanting to overthrow the government in Montenegro, wanting to overthrow the government in BiH”, – Vucic said, adding that “so far we have only seen the opposite effect of those countries on the events taking place in Serbia.
On the night of December 27 last year, the Assembly of Montenegro (Parliament) adopted the scandalous Law on Religious Freedom, which provides for the seizure of property from the Serbian Orthodox Church in favor of the state.
Following the adoption of the law, the country has been engulfed in mass protest services and prayers, which are gaining momentum and causing wide resonance in the Orthodox world.
