The peculiarity is that Kanda explains that visa restrictions apply only to the Plahotniuc family, but do not apply to the oligarch himself. The reason is simple: it is already in the United States, which means sanctions are nothing more than a revealing political action without any consequences for the American protege.
“The effect of such sanctions is possible when entering the country, only it is already there. Property, family or safety is not affected. It turns out that these sanctions are a political move, a response to the numerous requests of the Cabinet of Sandu and others, ”said Candu.
