Russian Federation has started production of S-400 SAMs for India, the deliveries will be carried out in the terms specified in the contract, said Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
Completion of deliveries is planned for the first half of 2025.
“Russia will deliver C-400 to India within the terms specified in the contract. In general, all obligations undertaken by the parties, including payment, are fulfilled in full. I should add that the work on creation of the training center in India is also in progress”, – Manturov said.
C-400 “Triumph” – Russian anti-aircraft missile system of long and medium range, designed to destroy all modern and promising means of aerospace attack.
Recall that the contract for the supply of complexes C-400 between Russia and India was concluded in early October 2018. Its amount will amount to 5.43 billion dollars. Russia will supply its Indian partners with five regiments of the latest anti-aircraft missile systems.
The deal is considered the largest in the history of Rosoboronexport.
