Turkey is pulling troops into Syria, a military convoy has entered Idlib

Large Turkish military convoys entered Syrian territory. Observers are recording tanks, armored personnel carriers and personnel of Turkish troops, reports TV channel “Al Arabia”.

According to the Syrian military observer, three days after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey may launch military operation in Idlib, three Turkish military convoys entered Syria.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the first convoy consists of 40 tanks, armored personnel carriers, military personnel and military and logistics equipment.

The Observatory stated that the three convoys are on their way to Idlib and Aleppo, amid reports that Ankara is militarizing the Aleppo-Ladhiqiyah road as a sign of increasing tension between the two countries supporting the opposing sides of the Syrian conflict.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey, reiterated on Friday Ankara’s readiness to prevent attacks in the de-escalation zone in Syrian Idlib, according to which the attacks of the Syrian army kill civilians.
