US President Donald Trump said he would like to compete with Democrat Michael Bloomberg in the upcoming elections.
“I would like to compete (in the elections) with Bloomberg, I would like very much”, – Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
At the same time, the head of state did not miss an opportunity to criticize the opponent, pointing out that he is small in stature and so he asked for a coaster for his debate.
“You can be low, it’s normal. But why is he being given a coaster for debate? Is it okay for others? (presidential candidate) Cory Booker didn’t have what Bloomberg has now. I think it’s very unfair to (the rest of) the Democrats”, – Trump said.
Trump is 190cm tall and Bloomberg is 173cm tall.
Trump is being re-elected for a second four-year term. Bloomberg could be his rival if he received voter support for the primaries and was elected as a single candidate from the Democratic Party at the July convention. So far, the politician is outside the top three most popular Democrats.
The election of the head of state will be held on November 3.
